Complete Room Re-Do

About a year ago, I decided to re-vamp my room, but it hasn't been completed until about two weeks ago. My sister helped me a lot with picking out all the final little details (thanks Caitlin!). I am extremely happy with it, and I hope I can inspire you to give yourself a total room makeover! Please comment if you have any questions about where I got something!

My Trip, pt. 2

The Stores I Went To

After spending the night in Marfa, we headed on to Santa Fe, New Mexico. I LOVE Santa Fe so much! The city is filled with mystery and surrounded by beautiful mountains.  I was obsessed with the awesome local shops that displayed colorful trinkets and thousands of designs all over the walls.

I love seeing what the Native American's sell on the plaza.

My sister, Claire, and my mom looking at some silver and turquoise jewelry.

Beautiful store right off the plaza.

Another awesome folk art store

My Trip, pt. 1

For the last two weeks I have been galavanting across the Southwest, starting off in Marfa, Texas. It's a little town about 6 hours from where I live, that used to be a little po-dunk town. But now, it's an amazing small town with a large artist community. They even have Marfa Public Radio (for a town of pop. 2121, that's pretty dang good). We stayed at an awesome 1950s motel turned retro hotel called the Thunderbird. Overall, it was a pretty great stop.
