Green's View

Today my friend, Catherine, and I decided to go on a little walk to an amazing view on campus. We chose to ignore the looming clouds and distant thunder rolling in the background as we trudged through the woods, though in the back of my mind I knew it was going to pour any minute. As we sat watching the clouds roll in and lightning strike miles away, the wind picked up tremendously. Although we did get a little rained on while walking back to main campus, it was really neat to have a front-row seat for the storm.

AHHHHH!

Life Changes...

Well...I'm in college now. It's so weird to think that this time last year I was just beginning to apply to colleges and had no idea where I'd end up! In case you are a new reader, I have decided to attend Sewanee: The University of the South in Sewanee, TN (a little over an hour away from Nashville). Life is really different here, and although I have only been here for about 2 weeks, I feel like I've been here for 2 years. Since being here, I've gone camping, caving, hiking, swimming, written for the newspaper, and met a ton of awesome new people. Needless to say, I have not had too much time to snap pictures or write any new posts, but I want to keep you all updated!

Here are some photos I've captured on my iPhone:
Piney Point
Sunset while camping out

And here are some photos that a professional photographer took during Orientation:

My class! The largest class in Sewanee's history.

p.s. new photos coming soon!
